Competition terms

These terms apply to every competition, leaderboard challenge and prize draw run by Pro Racing. Each competition also has its own details page with its dates, prizes and how to qualify.

1. The promoter

Competitions are run by Pro Racing Pty Ltd, trading as Pro Racing Simulators, 56 High Street, Hastings VIC 3915. Phone 0400 878 790 or email info@proracing.au.

2. Who can enter

1. Anyone who drives at Pro Racing during the competition period can enter, unless the competition details say otherwise.
2. We're a 13+ venue. Drivers under 18 need a responsible adult with them, and a parent or guardian must agree to the driver entering.
3. Pro Racing staff, their immediate families and anyone helping run the competition can drive, but can't win prizes.

3. How to enter

1. There's no entry fee. You enter by driving a session at the venue at the normal price, or at the competition session price on the details page.
2. Laps only count if they're set during the competition period, at the venue, on the server, car, track and setup named on the details page.

4. Laps, timing and results

1. Laps must be valid on the server's timing. Cut-track and invalidated laps don't count.
2. Only the assists the competition server allows can be used. Laps set using exploits, setup changes or another driver's name or account don't count.
3. Live leaderboards are unofficial. Our staff check every prize-winning and draw-qualifying lap before results are final, and their decision is final.
4. If two laps are identical to the thousandth of a second, the lap set first ranks higher.
5. Unless the details page says otherwise, each driver can win one place prize per competition, based on their single fastest valid lap.

5. Prize draws

1. Draw entries are earned as set out on the details page. Staff log each entry with the driver's name and mobile number.
2. The draw is held at Pro Racing at the time on the details page. One entry is drawn at random by a staff member in front of a witness, and the draw is filmed.
3. You don't need to be at the venue to win.

6. Prizes

1. Unless the details page says otherwise, prizes are Pro Racing gift cards. They can be used on anything at Pro Racing, including racing and golf sim sessions, food and drinks.
2. Prize gift cards follow our normal gift card terms. They don't expire, and they can't be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
3. We'll issue prize gift cards within 7 days of the winner confirming their details, by SMS or email, or ready to collect at the venue.

7. Winners

1. We contact winners by phone and SMS using the mobile number logged with their entry.
2. By entering, you agree that if you win, we can publish your first name, last initial and lap time on our website and social media.
3. If a draw winner can't be contacted or doesn't claim their prize by the claim date on the details page, we hold a redraw at the time on the details page. If a place winner can't be contacted or doesn't claim by that date, the prize goes to the next fastest eligible driver.

8. If something goes wrong

If something outside our control affects a competition, such as a server outage, power failure or sim fault, we may pause, extend or change the competition, or remove affected laps. Any change will be posted on the competition's details page.

9. Privacy

We only use your name and mobile number to run the competition and contact winners. We won't add you to our marketing lists because you entered.

10. The fine print

1. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those rights, we're not responsible for any loss from entering a competition or using a prize.
2. Our competitions are run by Pro Racing. Unless the details page says so, they're not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any racing series, event, team or game publisher.
3. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
